Set Objectives,
Prioritize, Engage Stakeholders and Benchmark Current Operations
Working
closely with the customer, InTEROS first determines overall
project objectives, transforming this input into a detailed project
scope and delivery requirements.
Based on specific customer needs,
InTEROS identifies business requirements both for today and
for tomorrow – including
all business drivers, customer expectations, partner relationships,
industry competition, client competitive advantages, etc. – setting
a prioritization strategy that delivers a solution meeting
criteria for both current and future time periods.
Next, InTEROS
creates a cohesive enterprise view of all projects and resources,
working with the customer to fully understand and document
other current competing projects (in resources, monies, etc.).
Prioritizing with the customer from an enterprise-wide point-of-view
helps ensure successful implementation of the solution.
InTEROS
believes that an effective way to mitigate risk is to identify
stakeholders and get them involved. Working with the customer,
InTEROS learns which parties within the enterprise -- and outside
-- will be affected by the project. Integrating these individuals
into the program in positions ranging from advisory to direct
involvement is key to achieving a successful solution.
Because
an enterprise needs to know where it is coming from in order
to recognize when it reaches the desired solution, InTEROS
benchmarks current operations. Again, working with the customer,
InTEROS measures the areas of the enterprise, both inside and
outside, that will be affected and documents the desired outcome.
With these benchmarks in place, InTEROS can measure the actual
outcome following solution deployment of the solution.
