Interos to Speak at October "Scoping the Cyber Threat" Executive Programme in United Kingdom

Jennifer Bisceglie, President, Interos, is scheduled to speak at the "Scoping the Cyber Threat" Executive Programme Series at Wilton Park in West Sussex, United Kingdom, June 27-29, 2012. She will present the topic of critical vulnerabilities and societal consequences to supply chains.

The invitation-only event, from June 27-29, 2012, at the Wilton Park Conference Centre, is designed to provide senior leaders in underwriting risk with an enhanced understanding of the consequences of cyber security threats and breaches. Ms. Bisceglie's presentation will outline the supply chain issues relevant to cyber security as well as the near and long term solutions. Other prestigious speakers include those from Forbes, the U.S. National Security Agency, Barclay's and IBM, among others.

"Today's supply chain requires a holistic, comprehensive (i.e.-risk identification, tolerance/acceptance and management) and collaborative industry approach," says Ms. Bisceglie. "This presentation will outline how to effectively manage exposure from risks such as accountability, product integrity, counterfeit items or internal human interaction. It also will emphasize a change of perspective and thinking, which are crucial to effectively resolving the issue for the long term."

The Programme is hosted at Wilton Park in association with Charles Taylor Consulting PLC. Invitation-only registrants will participate in a series of interactive sessions, designed to provide substantial opportunities to understand the threats and risks associated with critical infrastructures such as supply chain, information, mobile technologies and wireless systems.

For more than 60 years, the Wilton Park programme has actively carried out its role as a forum for democracy building, post-conflict reconciliation and international dialogue first set by Winston Churchill. His vision has now been expanded to address the most acute current global challenges. Combining international relations experience with a capacity to identify and develop emerging themes in policy trends at their very earliest stages, the programme serves as a key element in the relationship between Britain and other Countries. It is formally linked to the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and its activities reflect the long term strategic relationships.
