McLean, VA (August 2006) — Ms. Jennifer Bisceglie, President and Founder of InTEROS Solutions, Inc, a leading supply chain and logistics solutions company, has been re-elected to the SOLE -- The International Society of Logistics -- Board of Directors, and also is named Chairperson for the 2007 International Awards Board.
As a Board of Directors member, Ms. Bisceglie will play a key role in the future direction of the Society’s initiatives, including bringing more focus to the commercial logistics sector’s relevance and applicability on its Federal Government counterpart as well as the growing logistics arena of Humanitarian and Disaster Relief.
As Chairperson for the International Awards Board, Ms. Bisceglie will be responsible for coordinating award nominations from Society members and presenting them at the annual SOLE conference in August 2007.
“Having the opportunity to work with this group of passionate logisticians for another year and having the far reach into the global marketplace to make a difference is a great honor,” said Jennifer Bisceglie, President of InTEROS Solutions. “I look forward to working with this talented group on some of the Society’s transitional challenges to ensure that we’re meeting the members’ expectations as a Board.”
Lloyd Muller, President, SOLE, stated, “Ms. Bisceglie joined the Society at an interesting time when we are looking for ways to give more value to our current membership while reaching out to new members. By leveraging her experience in commercial industry and showing how that aligns with current DoD practices, we hope to open new avenues that we have not explored and attract more logisticians to join our efforts in spreading the education of logistics throughout the world. As the Society’s 2006 Awards Chair, the success of the Annual Awards Reception was largely due to her efforts. We anticipate another successful years under her Awards Board guidance in 2007.”
